Hello rail enthusiasts! My name is Adam,
and I am not only a rail enthusiast but also a locomotive driver in Australia.
I have the privilege of experiencing the fascinating world of trains both behind the camera as I film rail videos on RUclips and in the driver's seat. As a locomotive driver, I understand firsthand the demands of this profession.
It requires a unique combination of concentration and knowledge to safely operate these colossal machines. Join me as I delve into the captivating world of driving freight trains, sharing insights and experiences from my vantage point on the tracks.

SSR's 1MC4 Brown train headed from appleton dock back to nsw after a load for export, later on PNs 1CM6 ex Oaklands to Geelong powers through Kilmore East after dark. Applogies for the blur in the daylight videos, it seems the ND filter affected the lens. As you cna see the night video is much clearer. More videos soon. Enjoy. Ads.

Some B roll footage, as I wasn't really set up for filming and left my video camera in the missus car.. 😑 SSR's newest locomotives built in the USA by progress rail hauling an empty rake back to nsw from Melbournes Appleton dock. Shorlty after is the Qube steel train through Broadford. June 2024.

Australian EMD's N464 & S312, the N being a turbocharged V12 645e3c and the S class with a roots blown EMD V16 567 2 stroke diesel downing out the lead unit which has mufflers fitted. A70 should make some real noise in the next 3-5 months when it's in back in freight traffic.
